Creating Fun Dental Spaces for Kids

I’ve been working as a Pediatric Dental Technician for a few years now, and I love how crucial our job is in making dental visits less scary for kids. Recently, I started using colorful, playful materials for our office setups, which seems to really put the little ones at ease. I’m curious, what child-friendly designs or tools have you all found effective in your practices?

I love using themed chairs that look like race cars or rocket ships — kids think they’re getting ready for a fun ride, not a dental visit! Have you tried incorporating any storybook characters into your decor? It can really make a difference in their comfort level.
